The South African Social Security Agency (SASSA) in Mpumalanga is currently traveling to the Fernie two Group Hall in Mpuluzi to render expert services on the community.

SASSA are going to be rendering providers like new social grant applications, change of payment method, client care enquiries, in addition to the Social Relief of Distress (SRD) COVID-19 grant enquiries.

In a press release, the agency mentioned it's alarmed concerning the large variety of people counting on social grants for survival.
“The intention on the Integrated Registration Outreach Programme [ICROP] is to reach-out into a superior range of clients/beneficiaries to access SASSA services.

“This can be due to lack of infrastructure at Fernie and there's no fully functional office committed to service the area on a daily basis.
